Sun sets on Rolls-Royce's best-selling convertible
3 Years Ago
The Rolls-Royce Dawn is a four-seat luxury convertible that is no longer on sale as a new model in Australia. Based on the previous Rolls-Royce coupe and convertible family, it focused on open-air refinement over outright performance. The Dawn combined a twin-turbocharged V12 engine, a beautifully insulated fabric roof and a cabin tailored heavily to individual owners. Its appeal was relaxed glamour: quiet cruising, effortless torque and the sense of occasion expected from the badge. It was not a sports car, despite its two-door format. Instead, it served buyers wanting a grand, elegant convertible with genuine rear seats and the craftsmanship that defines Rolls-Royce ownership.
