Have you experienced any reliability issues with your vehicle since you purchased it?

    No.

Have you had to make any warranty claims?

    No.

Has your vehicle been serviced at least once since you took ownership?

Yes, the 1000km check-up, with no problems found with the car. Took about one hour, at no cost.

Overall, are you satisfied with your ownership experience so far?

Yes. Very comfortable car. Great around town, playing room in the back for my passengers. My first EV and I could not be any happier. Sound system is also good. Haven't done any long driving yet to try out the public chargers.

Andrew’s experience with the 2026 Chery E5 Ultimate

I have been driving the Chery E5 and wanted to share my thoughts on the overall experience. The interior of this car is exceptionally spacious, making it highly practical for daily use, and the cabin materials are remarkably easy to keep clean.

On the road, the vehicle runs really nicely with absolutely no major mechanical problems. Both the handling and the acceleration are impressively sharp and responsive. The only minor drawback I have noticed is that the brakes can be a little bit noisy when you are trying to take off specifically from a hill start.

A massive plus for me is the software customisation; you can easily turn down the volume of the active safety alerts, which means they are nowhere near as annoying or intrusive as they are in some other modern cars. Finally, parking this vehicle is an absolute breeze thanks to the incredibly clear 360-degree camera system.
