GWM Haval H9
The GWM Haval H9 is a discontinued large SUV that gave the brand an early body-on-frame seven-seat model in Australia. It was aimed at buyers wanting off-road style, towing ability and family space at a lower price than established four-wheel-drive wagons. The H9 is no longer sold new locally, with GWM's current SUV lineup focused on newer Haval and Tank models. Existing examples appeal mainly on value and size, but buyers need to consider age, support and how it compares with more proven off-road alternatives. Its legacy is that it helped GWM test demand for larger adventure-focused SUVs before the Tank sub-brand arrived.
