Why Fiat has culled a popular colour from its range
3 Years Ago
The Fiat 500X is no longer sold new in Australia, but it remains Fiat's small SUV spin on the 500 design idea. It took the rounded styling cues and cheerful personality of the city car and stretched them into a higher-riding crossover with more cabin space and a more versatile driving position. The 500X appealed to buyers who liked Fiat's character but wanted something easier to live with as a daily small SUV. Its strengths were style, compact dimensions and European flavour, although it competed in a crowded segment. For buyers looking at existing examples, the 500X is the practical alternative to the smaller 500 hatch and cabriolet.
