The Ferrari Portofino M is no longer in Ferrari's active new-car range, but it remains an important bridge between the older California family and the newer Roma Spider era. As a front-engined V8 convertible with a retractable hardtop, it was designed to be approachable by Ferrari standards while still offering serious performance, sharp styling and open-air touring ability. The M update brought more power, sharper dynamics and a more polished driving character. Its appeal is versatility: it can play grand tourer, weekend car and daily indulgence without feeling as demanding as a mid-engined supercar. For many buyers, it is one of Ferrari's most usable modern convertibles.
