Mercedes-Benz Australia has recalled one 2022 EQC 400 electric car due to a fault with the headlights.
“Due to a manufacturing issue, the headlamps may not be adjusted correctly. This could cause an incorrect headlamp range function of the vehicle,” said the company in its recall notice.
“If the vehicle headlamps do not operate as intended it could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.”

Mercedes-Benz Australia will contact the owner of the affected vehicle and ask them to schedule a repair with a local authorised Mercedes-Benz Australia dealership to have the repair carried out.
