McLaren Australia has recalled 28 examples of its 2018-2019 600LT Coupe and Spider due to a defect that could result in a fire.
“Due to a manufacturing issue, the joint between the coolant pipe and the temperature sensor may not be sealed adequately. This could cause a coolant leak resulting in a vehicle fire,” the brand says in its recall notice.
“A vehicle fire increases the risk of an accident, serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.”

If you are affected by this recall notice, you will need to contact an authorised McLaren service centre to have the work carried out, free of charge.
If you have any further questions, you can contact McLaren Client Services on (+44) 0 1483 3557900.
