Hyundai Tucson recalled

The current-generation Hyundai Tucson is being recalled to address an issue that may prevent its airbags from working.

"Due to a manufacturing issue, the side airbag sensors may not meet manufacturing specifications. As a result, the airbags may not deploy as intended," Hyundai Australia says in its recall notice.

"In the event of an accident, airbags not deploying as intended could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants."

• A total of 2650 vehicles are affected, produced in 2025

If you own an affected vehicle, you'll need to schedule an appointment with an authorised Hyundai dealership to have the work carried out, free of charge.
