Honey, I shrunk the LandCruiser 79 Series!
Australian off-road recovery equipment company Maxtrax, in collaboration with a number of other companies, has revealed a highly-modified Suzuki Jimny that’s inspired by a Toyota LandCruiser 79 Series single-cab ute.
Dubbed the Toyzuki 39.5, this “one-of-a-kind chopped Suzuki Jimny” was shown off at this year’s National 4×4 Outdoors show at the Brisbane Showgrounds over the weekend.
A highlight of this modified Jimny is the tray-back canopy setup.
Other modifications include a custom grille, bonnet scoop, AFN bullbar with underbody protection, Rhino roof rack, Torqit snorkel, and a number of round driving lights.
It appears to be finished in Sandy Taupe paint.
It’s unclear if this modified Suzuki Jimny produces any more power. The regular model is powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine producing 75kW of power and 130Nm of torque.
Maxtrax is giving away this Toyzuki 39.5 as part of a competition that hasn’t started yet. You can register for the competition at toyzuki.com.au
