Land Rover has streamlined the dizzying array of options on its Discovery Sport for 2022.

The flagship R-Dynamic HSE loses its ClearSight digital rear-view mirror but scores standard matrix LED headlights.

The trick mirror is now an option, while a surround-view camera with wade sensing is now optional across the range instead of standard fitment.

Standalone options including 21-inch alloy wheels, a heated windscreen, locking wheel nuts, garage door opener and a suede cloth-wrapped steering wheel have been dropped.

A new option across the range is in-car wi-fi, which includes 20GB of complementary 4G data every month. It uses an embedded SIM and is available under an annual subscription.

There’s been a shuffling of interior and exterior colours. Lantau Bronze and Ostuni Pearl White exterior finishes are in, while Yulong White is out.

A tow hitch receiver is now a dealer-fitted accessory.
