Who needs a V8? Luxury Nissan Patrol twin gets GT-R-sourced 1000-horsepower V6
8 Months Ago
The Infiniti QX80 is a discontinued full-sized luxury SUV that gave Infiniti a large, V8-powered flagship with serious road presence. It was based around traditional large-SUV hardware, with three-row seating, a big petrol engine and a focus on comfort, towing ability and high equipment levels. In Australia it appealed to buyers who wanted something different from the usual luxury seven-seat options, especially those drawn to size and American-style presence. The QX80 is no longer sold new locally after Infiniti's Australian exit. Existing examples are uncommon and suit buyers prioritising space, power and distinctiveness, while accepting fuel use and limited brand support.
