Abarth 695c
The Abarth 695c is the open-top companion to the 695 hatch, combining Abarth's compact petrol performance formula with a folding roof and a more extroverted character. It used a 1.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 132kW and 250Nm, driving the front wheels, and was offered locally with a three-year, 150,000km warranty. The 695c is no longer on sale as a new model in Australia, after Abarth convertible variants were dropped from the local range. Its appeal is personality over practicality: small dimensions, punchy performance, a distinctive exhaust note and open-air driving in a city-friendly package. Among modern Abarth models, it stands out as the more flamboyant alternative to the petrol hatch.
