The Aston Martin Vanquish is the brand's modern V12 flagship, returning a famous name to the top of the front-engined range. In Australia it uses a 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 producing 614kW and 1000Nm, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. The Vanquish is designed as a high-speed grand tourer with huge performance, a luxurious two-seat cabin and dramatic long-bonnet proportions. It replaces the DBS line as Aston Martin's most powerful series-production front-engined model, with pricing and positioning to match. Its appeal is simple: a rare new V12 coupe with immense torque, striking design and the kind of emotional character increasingly uncommon in modern performance cars.
