The Aston Martin DB12 is the brand's front-engined grand tourer, replacing the DB11 with a sharper chassis, a far more modern cabin and a stronger performance brief. In Australia it uses a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 500kW and 800Nm, driving the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission. The DB12 is available as a coupe and Volante convertible, with the wider family now extending to the more focused DB12 S. Its character is classic Aston Martin: long-bonnet proportions, rich interior presentation and effortless speed, balanced by more precise handling than the old DB11. It suits drivers who want a luxurious GT that still feels special and responsive when the road opens up.
