McLaren is recalling one example each of its 2019-20 600LT and GT due to a fault with the brake assembly.

“A component within the brake assembly may not meet manufacturing specifications,” the company says in its recall notice.

“If the component is not manufactured correctly the brake calliper will not operate correctly, the result of this would be a reduction in expected braking performance and handling of the vehicle.

“A loss of breaking [sic] performance may increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants.”

If you’re an owner of one of the affected vehicles, you’ll need to book in at a McLaren dealer for a free repair.

If you have any further questions, you can call McLaren Client Services on +44 (0) 1483 357900 or email them.
