Ford Australia has reduced pricing across its all-electric Mustang Mach-E range, with prices slashed by up to $7000.
First customer deliveries are set to commence this month.
The mid-spec Premium now sits under the Luxury Car Tax (LCT) threshold for fuel-efficient vehicles and qualifies for the Fringe Benefits Tax exemption when purchased through a novated lease.
Pricing now starts at $72,990 before on-roads for the Mustang Mach-E Select, and extends to $104,990 before on-roads for the flagship Mustang Mach-E GT.
The Ford Mustang Mach-E is the Blue Oval’s rival for the Tesla Model Y, which has a base price around $7600 lower.
“This price reduction is a major positive for our customers and demonstrates our commitment to delivering the best products and great value to our customers,” said Ford Australia president and CEO Andrew Birkic.
“As the EV market continues to evolve, we are responding to it.”
Ford hasn’t made any changes to the launch line-up to coincide with the price increase.
There are three models available: the single-motor rear-wheel drive Select and Premium, and the dual-motor all-wheel drive GT.
